Obafemi Awolowo Mary - Oni also known as Mowawoni (Born HRH Princess Ayobami Adeolu Mary Ajayi) on the 16th January, 1989 is an African royal princess, newsreader, film director and the chairperson of the fashion brand ‘Mary Laurent'. She is the great grand daughter of His Eminence Chief Obafemi Jeremiah Oyeniyi Awolowo, a Nigerian politician and statesman. He served as the first Premier of the Western region of Nigeria and later became the federal commissioner for finance, and vice chairman of the Federal Executive Council during the Nigerian Civil War. Royalty Mowawoni is the great grand-daughter of the Owa of Ilesa, Owa Ajimiko Il Oba Fidipote, Kabiyesi Oba HRM Fredrick Kumokun Adedeji Alexander Haastrup who was born in the 19th century into the family of a member of the ancient Bilaro Royal house of Ilesa which is one of the four ruling families of Ilesa (Biladu, Bilagbayo, Bilaro, and Bilayirere) of the Ilesa historic kingdom in Ijesha land in South West Nigeria.
